Does Lyme Disease Cause Swelling And Pain In The Knees And Feet?

I was diagnosed with lyme disease five years ago. I was given one month of antibiotics. My knees and feet are always swelling, I am in constant pain, and it does not go away. It gets worst, I am so tired, and I can t function, would this be from chronic lyme disease?

no specific treatment except broad spectrum antibiotics. no vaccine is available if diagnosed and treated early it can be cured. doxycyclin and amoxicillin are prefered drugs. ticks bite has a role to play to get infected proper fumigation in house to eliminate ticks to be done. maintain cleanliness and hygiene other problem can be symptomatically treated and cured.all problem are not due to lyme's disease. there should be complete general examination and routine blood stool and urine test should be done. deworming with albendazole should be done.many of problem are psychological.
