Does MUA Of The Knee Cause Severe Pain And Swelling?

Hi,I have an MUA of the right knee in two days. How much pain and swelling is expected. I m about 10 weeks out after TKR. I just can t get the knee to straighten and bend as well as it should. I m also having a hard time straining to walk because of it. I m 47 years old and I need my quality of life back. I just pray I can get back to PT and work hard to get my life back so to speak.

Hello,

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
