Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic
You seem to have developed Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation, which is common after an ablative procedure like fraxel for acne scars, in asian skin/skin of color. This cream is a combination of tretinoin, hydroquinone and mometasone. Though this cream has potent demelanizing ingredients like hydroquinone and tretinoin but it should always be used cautiously under the supervision of a dermatologist as a spot treatment for PIH, only for a short period because these ingredients can cause irritation and redness as a side effect; this cream also contains a potent steroid, Mometasone Furoate which if used regularly can lead to more acne as a side effect. I would suggest that you use this cream only for the required duration as recommended by your doctor and only over the affected area.
HI Well come to HCM The Melacare cream does not have any side effect unless it is proved before the sensitivity of this cream means if you have a history of sensitivity because of this medicine then and then you can not use this cream otherwise this is well tolerated, one can feel slight burning due to this only, hope this helps.
