Does Melatonin Cause Nose Bleeding?

Hi, I ve been on 10mg Lexamil for a month. It has caused insomnia so my doctor prescribed 3mg Melatonin. The Melatonin has caused bad nose bleeds and brain fog each morning? Is this normal? I m also taking Magnesium, Riboflavin (vit B2) anf Moringa each day. Can this have an effect?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No, melatonin can not cause nose bleeding.
Your other drugs are also not causing nose bleeding.
Most common cause for nose bleeding is finger trauma. Other causes are hypertension, nasal polyp etc.
So better to consult ENT doctor and get done blood pressure monitoring and endoscopic examination of nose and sinuses.
You may need saline nasal drops.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
