Does Meloxicam Help To Reduce Pain And Chills Caused Due To Root Canal Treatment?

Hi, my husband had a root canal done a few hours ago. He is in a moderate amount of pain suddenly now since the freezing has left. Can he take the meloxicam for pain that he was prescribed a couple of weeks ago (that was at the same time he was prescribed as the antibiotic, which he finished a week ago)? Will it help? Note: he does take high blood pressure medication and it is usually still just on the high side.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern for your husband if this is pain due to root canal then this can be managed with the analgesic given by the dentist and this can be taken even with the medicine that is being on for hypertension, any NSAID can be taken and best drug would be Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg once in day, hope this information helps, take care.
