Does Methotrexate Interact With Azithromycin?

I take Methotrexate (6 tablets Methotrexate Sodium 2.5 mg) once a week due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have just been diagnosed with a Sinus Infection and have been prescribed Azithromycin 250 mg 6-pack tablets. I used the drug interaction tool and it appears there s no danger of interaction. Just double-checking, please. Robert Bruce YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

Methotrexate is not specific medicine. There is no interaction with Erythrocin. The drug is used to treat other ailments like diabetes with good result.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
