Does Metoprolol Tartrate Interact With Formula 303?

I currently take Metoprolol Tartrate, 25 mg, twice a day, prescribed by my Cardiologist. My Chiropractor is trying to help me with some neck spasms, and pain. I ve already had an MRI which showed some change due to arthritis, but mostly swelling in the left side of my neck where the pain is worse. While trying to adjust my spine to relieve this problem, my Chiropractor also wants to add a Holistic medication 2x/day, Formula 303, for relief of muscle spasm, tension and stress. Is there any reason for concern taking both of these medications? Her plan is to refer me to an orthopedist if, after a couple of weeks, she s unable to find me some relief.

There is no documented harmful interactions between the two medicines.
Formula 303 is a homeopathic formula claimed to be effective in the treatment of muscle spasm effective in relieving painful spasms of the neck and shoulder.

However, there is no scientific study to prove its efficacy and safety in these conditions.

Based on the history you seem to be suffering from cervical spondylitis resulting in pinched nerves in the neck causing neck spasms.

You need to consult an orthopedic or neurosurgeon for further evaluation and treatment which may involve use of medications like Baclofen and Gabapentin for the relief of muscle spasms.
