General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
Incomplete data like age, gender, purpose of taking these medications?

This combination is not advisable.

If taken along with Fluoxetine, Mirtazapine can increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called the "serotonin syndrome" which is characterized by confusion, hallucination, seizure, high BP, increased heart rate, fever, excessive sweating, blurred vision, severe muscle spasm, tremor, incoordination, stomach cramp, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

In view of the above I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist to review the prescribed medications and to select an alternate effective but a safer medication for your problem.

Best regards.
