hiiiii dear
mirtazapine is the one of the good drug for depression

it will have dual role
one is in depression
2nd it will help to get good sleep

if you are young than 7.5 mg is ideal dose it can be increase to 15 mg
but yes it is slower responding drug
if you want than shifted to escitalopram 10 mg which has faster onset of action but consult your doctor before make any changes in drug
get well soon
