Hello dear Understand your concern I think improper dose and application lead to scanty bleeding, another reason may be ectopic pregnancy. Abortion process should be done under advice of gynecologist after confirming intrauterine pregnancy of less than 9 week by USG. Ideally Mifepristone should be followed by misoprostol. Direction of use: 600 mg mifepristone orally should be followed by misoprostol 800 ug vaginally by gynecologist after 48 hour. If needed another 2 dose should be given at 6 hour interval. Bleeding with clots and tissue will pass after 45 minutes of taking last pill and bleeding gradually decrease. USG should be done after 14 days to confirm intrauterine pregnancy. Sometime Bleeding may be delayed. So wait for bleeding and if no bleeding you can contact gynecologist for proper advice. You should not continue pregnancy if medicine fails as it cause deformity and you have to go for D & C to abort. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
