Does Nanoxidil Help To Reduce Hair Loss?

My son is 16. He lost his hair during age 14-15 due to chemotherapy treatment for osteosarcoma. From age 15-16 his hair grew back very thick on his head as well as his entire body. Now my son is 16. He is definitely balding on his head. I am wondering if Nanoxidil 5% (Spectral DCN N) is appropriate for him to try?

He is suffering from Anagen effluvium as a result of chemotherapy. Chemotherapy can induce hair loss as antimitotic drugs reduce the blood supply of the hair follicle.Minoxidil 5 percent can help to some extent in hair loss.Tablets containing biotin may also be used after consulting your dermatologist. Scalp cooling while receiving chemotherapy may also be tried after consulting your dermatologist.
