Does Nexium Cause Any Side Effects?

Hi, I have been diagnosed for GORD and have been prescribed Nexium esomeprazole 40mg, 1 twice a day for 4 weeks. I read that suddenly cutting down on Nexium can create problems. So I would like to know if I stop Nexium after 4 weeks, will it create other health issues?
