Does Niacin Interfere With Pravachol?
Hello,
My wife just had a lipid profile done this morning. Her HDL is 25 and her LDL is 225. They prescribed 40 mg. of Pravachol. After research, I am considering adding in 500 mg of sustained release nicotinic acid (Niamax). Would the niacin counteract the Pravachol?
