Does Nicardia R 20 Induce Sleep?

Dear Doc, My husband is 54 yrs old and have been taking 50mg zaart for high blood pressure for the last 5 years or so. But since of late his pressure was more than 140/80 while taking zaart. So his doc changed him to Nicardia R 20 daily and if his pressure dosent come to normal wanted to take Nicardia along with Nebivas 5g. daily. So my husband is worried that it will have side effects on his health and he says he feels sleepy all the time. Is it due to the change of his medicine. ? Pls reply
