Does Norethisterone Alter The Period Dates Further?

If I take Norethisterone this month will it alter the date of my period due in August. Basically due on in middle of my holiday, don t really want to take the pills whilst on holiday, would like to take them now to adjust my period date to come week before my holiday starts, so then wont come on again until 1st week September?? Will this work?
