Does Norethisterone Delay Periods?

Hi, I am about to start my period tomorrow or the next day, i was prescribed Norethisterone 5mg once daily for irregular bleeding. If i start taking this medicine tomorrow will it stop my or delay my period for the next 5 days, being that i am going on vacation

Hi I think it is not guaranteed that it will delay the periods. You should start taking it atleast 4 to 5 days before your expected next period date. So, you can try to take it from tomorrow or today itself. It may or may not work. Hope it helps.
