Does Novelon Cause Cancer If Used For Long Periods Of Time?

Hello Dr, I am 45 yrs.old n I hv been prescribed by my Gynaec Novelon since 2008 I am taking it against my complaint of over bleeding & more of clots and did cureting. Still I am continuing taking 21 days Novelon right from the 5th day of my menstrual cycle. I was told by some people if taken for a longer time, it may lead to cancer and Iam so worried about it my gynaec is till asking me to continue it. What should I do dr. Kindly guide me.
