Does Novlon Help Reduce Cyst Size?

i am 40 yrs old woman. I had undergone removal of left ovary because of dermoid cyst by laprotomy. I have two kids with caesarian. Now I am again diagonozed with cyst in right ovary with size of 5 cm. doctor has advised novlon 2 cycles. i have already completed one. please advise if this will help reduce the cyst.
