Does Obogesic And Roxid Treat Flu?

Hello there
I have had the flu for the past 5 days and have been taking ibogesic and roxid each day, i do have a sore throat and a bad cough, is roxid helping and should i continue because an antibiotic i believe is solely used to fight bacteria and not viruses so if i should stop it i would like to know why my doctor prescribed it for me and why should i use it of so? Thmx

Well come to HCM
When you knew it, then it is better to stop the antibiotic because in viral infection it has got no role, some time chances of secondary bacterial infection may be likely and to prevent this some doctor prescribes antibiotic may be as prophylactic, hope this information helps, take care.
