Does Omeprazole Cause Excessive Urination,irregular Heartbeat And Chills?

i went to the hospital for abdominal discomfort and was prescribed omeprazole. in my lab i was also advised about a low potassium level (3.2) it s been about 15 hours since i last taken the meds. some symptoms I ve been having through the course of the day are; excessive urination, irregular heartbeat, chills, hot flashes, difficulty swallowing, fatigue, muscle spasms, body aches, and muscle weakness. my questions, should stop taking the omeprazole? i feel like the omeprazole is only aggravating the simple low potassium

Hello,
First of all, don't worry because omeprazole is most probably not the culprit for your symptoms, because this drug has not been documented to have effects on systems and symptoms you are experiencing, so continue taking for prescribed duration. The most probable reason for your symptoms could be low potassium levels. Are you taking any diuretics too? Maybe incorrect diurects according to your condition can also be the cause. Please check Your BP.
