Does Omnacortil 10 Mg Help With High Bilirubin Level?
Gmorning. My father suffering from Jaundice for the last 40 days and Bilirubin count reached max of 14. As per docotors advice Currently he is taking OMNACORTIL 10 mg. Is it the correct tablet to take? Will there be any side effect because of this. Pl. advice - Thinahar

1) it is difficult to say role of Omnacortil on bilirubin level without knowing prior history and blood reports. If your father is suffering from acute hepatitis (due to alcohol) then yes there is role of Omnacortil in hepatitis.
2) the prescribed dosage of Omnacortil which your father is taking is safe-dosage. But you can't stop steroid medications like other medications. You need to reduce dosage over few days then only can stop taking medications.
