Can a sensitivity to oxycodone cause a narcotic black out . I had surgery one year ago. Do not remember but a few hazy seconds 4-5 times over a 9-10 day black out . I don t remember anything after receiving pre op meds. Two doctors guessed it might be a sensitivity. One doctor said it was because I failed to follow doctors orders for eating and fluid intake. He could not explain to me how I could follow doctors orders when I m blacked out and don t have a clue to what s going on!
