Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Have been diagnosed with Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation ,\left anterior hemi-block and borderline QTc interval. I am on warfarin and 2.5 bisoprolol.Should I regulate my life style in anyway? I am 69 still play tennis teach garden, ride bike etc. but do get very tired heart jumps about a bit and stil can get episodes of PAF. I was told to avoid contact sports but nothing else.
As on warfarin u should avoid injuries... many sports requiring strenuous activity will likely ti have trauma ...so usually asked to avoid strenous sport activities...but keeping healthy lifestyle will help u more energetic....second thing if Ur heart rate not well controlled doctor can increase medication so u will feel better...
