Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Drugs may have side effects. They are only prescribed when the benefits outweigh the risks. So it depends on your disease, if your disease is not very serious, and its not impairing your living, you can well be without drugs, however sometimes the disease is more debilitating than any side effect of the drugs, so if your anxiety is controlled without drug, it ok, but if that is teasing you, then it is worth you take the drugs. Most of the times side effects don't occur, and any time if it occur we can also stop it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
