Does Polident Contain Sulpha?
my wife who wares dentures has never used polident or any of the other adhesives. But she just had a new lower denture made, and while trying to get used to it has been using polident to keep in place. She is allegric to sulpha, do these products contain any cause it seems she s been breaking out in rashes, and just today had blood work done to find cause but won t get results for couple of days.

Yes, prolident does contain sulfur containing ingredient. One of the active ingredients of prolident potassium monopersulfate - a cleaning and bleaching agent which contains substantial amount of sulfur sufficient enough to cause allergic reactions which are quite similar to those caused by sulfur containing drugs.
