Does Pravachol Cause Increase In Triglyceride And Cholesterol Levels?

I have blood work every 3 months,my triglycerides on 4/19 were 265,my ldl cholesterol was 139. total 265. my dr had me double up on pravachol from 10 to 20 mgs. i thought it was strange that my counts were so high so on 5/3 i re did all blood work and my triglycerides went to 91,my total cholesterol is 195. can lab work be wrong and could the pravachol dose change my blood work in 10 days
