Does Prednisone Shot For Arthritis Cause Rashes All Over Body?

I have a rash on my back and hips, around my neck at the collar line, on, under, and in between my breasts, and on my stomach. In the past six months I received prednisone shots in both hips for arthritis. About a month ago I received a prednisone shot and took 5 days of oral prednisone for this rash. Could all this prednisone cause this rash? I also use two inhalers for COPD and take Toviaz for OAB. All these drugs were started on the last 7 months. Could these be part of the problem? This rash is driving me crazy and I would live to find some relief. Thanks!

Hello Welcome to the HCM
Brief answer..It could be because of steroids
Detailed answer...Since Predinilone causes increased ACTH Adrenocorticohormone level which is the main reason causing spots.It is more likely that these rashes could be because of steroids you are taking.My opinion would be to discuss with your doctor for adjusting the dose of steroids according to your symptoms,it can be gradualy tappered off.Further you may also get checked by dermatologist to evaluate an other cause.
