Does Primolut - N Help As A Contraceptive?

Hi Doctor, i am getting married on the 27th Nov, i get my periods generally on 9th ot 10th of every month, since i will be going for honeymoon on 9th of december my doc has asked me to have Primolut - N 2 times a day from the 5th of december till 15 th of december when i will be back, does Primolut - N help in contraception too?...or do i have to use protection during my honeymoon?

Thank you for asking the question.
As your period are nearer to your honeymoon, your doctor prescribed you primolut n. Drug primolut n support the uterine wall and doesn't allow to shed as menstual bleeding.
So your period delayed and whenever you stops you get bleeding.
You are also protected until you take the drug.
