Does Primolut N Affect The Baby If Taken During Pregnancy?
Good Day. I was prescribed by my OB a Primolut N 10mg twice daily for 7 days, she mentioned that I am not pregnant for my blood test last week came out negative I missed my period for 10 days now, and I am having a really different feeling, I am bloated, having mild cramps now and then and more than 2 weeks ago I had a dark brown discharge for 3 days and its been more than one week since I am having a creamy like white discharge almost every other day without bad odor. I am really feeling that I am pregnant but the Dr said I am not and now I am scared to take my OB s prescription of Primolut N 10mg, cause if ever I m pregnant it might have bad effects for baby. I need any opinions about this matter,
Hello Welcome to Ask a doctor service. I have reviewed your query, and here is my advice. The hormone medicine that is being given to you is for irregular menses and your history some what suggestive of that, if you ever wanted to rule out the pregnancy then the best option is to get done the ultrasonography, else it does not seems to be pregnancy and symptoms that you have seems to be nonspecific or it may be dyspepsia. Hope I have answered your query and let me know for further assistance.
