Does Primolut Helps In Stopping The Periods Which Are Since Ten Days?

I am 50 years old very healthy on no medicine at all . I went to the doctor and had the Deporalovera injection last month as I heard it can stop periods indefinitly as it was every 25 days and bled for 5 days. Now I have 1st period since the injection 25 days later and have bled much lighter but consistent for 10 days so far. Can I take something to stop it? I do have some primolut 5 mg in my first aid. Should I take this and will it stop?
