Hi I m about to get get married in 3 and my periods are due on the same day as my wedding, so my GP prescribed me primolut n to stop my periods for the honeymoon period so i can avoid period pain during that time. I started taking the tablets yesterday but I m very worried to gain weight if i continue using this medicine for the next 2 weeks. So my question is if i take this medicine for 2 weeks only then stop, will i be likely to gain weight?

Hi.

Yes, there will be a nild amount of weight gain, but nothing too significant in my opinion, try to have a cardio workout every now and then to help.

Best wishes.
