This is Claudia, 28 years old. What happened is that I had unprotected sexual intercourse on September 8th. I had my last period on Sept. 1st. Theorically there is no risk for pregnancy. But I wasn't feeling safe so I wanted to take the pill of the day after. But that is not legal in Kuwait (where I am since a couple of months). So in the pharmacy they gave me primolut-nor, to be taken twice a day for five days. they said if there is anything it will finish with the period that this medicine is going to 'provoke'. I had a clinical abortion 6 years ago. What should I expect from this tablets? Is it safe? It would really work? I feel guilty for what I'm doing. Your answer would really help me.
If i take a pregnancy test, would the result be affected by this tablet? I started them last night, I took 2 already, feel a little nausea. Thank you for your help.
Only taking primolut n will not work as a contraceptive and hence you need to get a pregnancy test done to be sure.Pregnancy tests are accurate when done 10 days after missing the period or at least one to two weeks after you had sex.
