Does Progynova Withdrawal Cause Side Effects?

I am 67years old and have been taking hormone tablets for about 20years. I am taking 2mg progynova at the moment, although I have been weaning myself off them. I was wondering is there any harm if I continue taking them as normal every day? I am having trouble with hot flushes and not being able to sleep.
