General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for posting your question to HCM,

I read carefully your question.
Irregular or slow heart rate is from the side effects of Prozac that falls in the category of "not known" if and how often it gives that side effect.

If I was your caring doctor, I would recommend to consider switching to another drug for your anxiety, since it gives you bothersome side effects; and if after stopping them the problem continues then consider check-up the heart to a local physician to make sure that its not a problem that needs specific treatment.

Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you have further questions or need more clarifications. I will be happy to answer.

Take care,
Dr. Papaqako
