Does Ramipril And Norvasc Withdrawal Cause Swelling In Legs And Feet?

My father stopped his blood pressure pills (ramipril and norvasc) last week because his blood pressure was very low without consulting a doctor. Can this cause swelling in his legs and feet? He is also started the drug Xtandi a few weeks ago can this be a cause?

Yes these two drugs are diuretics and lower the blood pressure by increasing the urinary output.
Yes on stoppage of these drugs patient do develop pedal edema. In my opinion your father should see the doctor so that these drugs can be initiated again in optimal dose....
