Does Sandoz Pills Used For Delaying Periods?

i heard from my friend that sandoz tablet is used for delaying periods..is it so? and are they any side effects? i want to delay my periods for a function from 14th to the 17th and the due date for my next periods is 15th march...plz advice how to goh about it
