Does Sertraline Help In Treating Vertigo?
I am a vertigo sufferer, and have been prescribed the drug sertraline by my doctor, how does this drug have a connection with vertigo, when I did take these pills, the reactions were the worse I have ever experienced , the dizziness increased my great fear and confusion. Would you recommend I should have continued taking them? ( have discontinued them now) Thank you. Anne

if sertaline has not suited you you may report to your doctor and stop it.I would suggest evaluation of cause of vertigo-primary testing of blood presure,ear balancing, cervical spondylitis as some common causes-or it may be central in origin(nervous system,brain)You may get complete evaluation for cause if it is of long standing
betahistine hcl is a class of drug for symptomatic relief from vertigo and if your doctor agrees he may like to switch over to it
