Does Simvastatin Cause Hot Flashes?

Ive taken simvastatin for 6 weeks. Since I've started esp recently I will wake up 1100 to 1200 pm with "hot flashes." I take the pill at 730. Not a know side effect, but seems like there is some people online that complain of that. I am 39 male. Reasonable that it could be a cause?
