Does Spironolactone Cause Muscle Cramps In The Lower Legs?
I started taking spironolactone 50mg a day on 2/5/16. 3 days ago on 2/12/16, I started experiencing lower leg cramps and spasms in my toes. They feel like Charlie Horses. I m concerned as this is been listed as a severe side effect. Is this normal? I m concerned.

It is not related to spironolactone.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
