Does Stovas Need To Be Taken?

my cholestrol levels are within the permitted levels and the ratios of LDL to HDL and total values are in the safe range. Recently I underwent CABG for 3 blocks and I am out of hospital. I have been prescribed Stovas 20 daily once.

Do I need Storvas at all.

Dear Sir/madam
Thanks for your query.
Definitely, all patients who have undergone CABG should take statins (drugs like storvas), irrespective of their cholesterol levels, for rest of their life unless contraindicated. however the dosage may be changed from time to time. These drugs provide benefit by increasing life span of such patients and are essential.
sincerely
