Does Subutex Lower The Effectiveness Of Oxycodone?

I have a chronic pain condition four over 30 yrs. My pain Doc has me on oxycodone and subutex. I have read that the subtex can reduce the effectiveness of the Oxy. Also,I have developed cns sleep apnea. I am exhasted, tired all day,and in pain virtually all day, every day. I had a fractured skull a age 6. I m now 63 and am totally frustrated with my drug treatment regime. I have a very good psychiatrist, but he is not my pain Doc. I need some sort of effective form of pain control. Any thoughts? Thanks. Don
