Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Supatret-c cream is a combination of topical retinoid (tretinoin)+clindamycin gel. It is an excellent antiacne formulation. While tretinoin works to exfoliate comedones, clindamycin works mainly on inflammatory papules and pustules.

The exfoliating action of tretinoin decreases the contact time of melanocytes with keratinocytes, thereby helps in decreasing the black spots resulting from acne as well.

Tretinoin is an irritant, therefore it should be used sparingly(applied as a thin film) OR else it can cause excessive peeling and dryness/redness.

Use a gentle cleanser for face wash e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion, twice daily.

regards
