Does TB Medication Cause Bloating And Increase In Weight?

i have been taking TB medication since Feb 2014, as i was diagnosed with Lymph node Tb after under going a Thoracotomy operation. I am constantly feeling bloated and have put on weight since starting medication, is this normal? The doctor put me on Ranitidine to protect stomach lining, this does not seem to have helped.
