General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
Do not worry. Thyronorm does not affect the baby and it is category A drug does not cause adverse effect during whole pregnancy.
Your TSH is high suggestive of hypothyroidism. And thyroid hormone is require for normal development and growth of fetus.
So it is better to take thyronorm/thyroid hormone from outside to maintain the growth of fetus.
Target value of TSH should be less than So start the tyronorm and repeat the test after 4-6 week to see the response.
Dose may be increased if target value will not reach (Regular follow up require very 6 week.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
