Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I see in symptom checker for nausea and vomiting that cld be from excessive Tylenol intake. How much is that? When I hv nerve pain in hip and leg at night, I take 2 caplets of extra strength Tylenol. Is that too much? Hv been doing this for a few months.
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern. Nausea and vomiting are an overdose symptom of tylenol. If you are are feeling this symptoms while taking tylenol you should stop taking it. If you take more than the maximum dose of 4 g per 24 hours than you are taking an overdose of tylenol. I suggest you to take tylenol 325 mg to orally every 4 to 6 hours for the pain. Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
