Does UTI Cause Pain In The Groin Area Radiating From The Neck?

I am having pain in my right side groin area as well as in my lower right side of my back. Starts in my back then moves around to the front groin area. I have had kidney stones before on my left side never on my right side. This has been going on for 6 days, went to the 24 hour care office and was told I did not have a urinary tract infection, must be k-stones or appendices???
