Does Utovlan Prevent Pregnancy?

Hello, I have recently went to the hospital as I have had the worst period pains ever! And constant bleeding..which I don t have because I m on the pill. The doctor gave me Utovlan and I have been taking it for2 days now, three times a day. I had unprotected sex last night but I m talking Utovlan? Does this mean I m protected? Or do o need to get the morning after pill?

You should take a morning pill as this is not primarily used for contraception. It is mostly prescribed for heavy periods..
