Does Xanax Cause Poor Memory?

I am wondering if the Xanax I am taking ( 1mg 3 times a day as needed ) can be making me sometimes not be able to recall names, or objects I m trying to remember at the moment, then after a minute or two it comes to me. If so, can I counteract the problem, and how? Thanks

Hello,

Usually, xanax do not cause any memory problems. But certainly anxiety does. Do not worry and you can have a talk to your psychiatrist regarding this.
I suggest telephonic counseling and online psychotherapy for you.
You can contact me for further advice and treatment options.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
