Does Xanax Interact With Zithromax?

I having been taking Xanax (alprazolam)for several years for anxiety. This week I started taking azythromax for bronchitis and an antihistamine. Suddenly. For the last two nights I wake up with extreme itching in hands and feet. Unable to sleep. No rash, no swelling, Just crazy itching. Could this be a drug interaction? I never feel this in the daytime.

Other drugs WHICH will affect Xanax. Taking this medicine with other drugs that make you sleepy or slow your breathing can cause dangerous side effects or death.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
