Does Zonisamide Cause Insomnia?
I am currently on 200 mg Zonisamide. MD wants me to increase the dose by 100mg increments weekly until I reach 400mg daily. Problem is, I am only able to get two hours of sleep a night. Is this a normal issue with this drug, and will it improve in time? I ve now been two and a half weeks with only two hrs of sleep at night.

Zonisamide can cause sleep problems in some individuals. However, you will outgrow from this issue once you get used to the medication. Long term use of Zonisamide can even help sleep better.
